Hi friends! I thought it would be fun to share our experiences with real-world Harry Potter related events For example, last week I went to Harry Potter Trivia and won first place! It was *totally awesome.* I was on a team with one other Ravenclaw and two Hufflepuffs. The Hufflepuffs did a good job cheering us Ravenclaws on as we produced all of the answers for the trivia\\\\\\(I actually did most of the heavy lifting but that's fine)\\\\\\\haha! I got a free burger and beer so it was pretty cool. Also, in June, I am going to a Harry Potter themed Pub Crawl! There's a "best costume" award so I have designed and created my own version of Luna Lovegood's lion hat. I'm planning on wearing that, my Spetrespecs, and my radish earrings complete with my Ravenclaw uniform and I am SO EXCITED! I'm going to get a wand included with the ticket and I am so curious to see what the wands look like. Always good to add to the wand collection, amiright. So, what Harry Potter events are you looking forward to?!

I know it's not really an event, but I'm DYING to play Harry Potter: Wizards Unite! ... AKA Harry Potter GO. As an avid Pokemon GO player, this will make me forget Pokemon is a thing, I think... I am also in the planning stages of making a trip to the WWoHP in Orlando once I move out to Maryland later this year...
Also, Was that *totally awesome* in reference to AVPM?

Oh my gosh YES to that game!!! I am also very excited about it. And NO WAY I am also planning to try and get to WWoHP later this year, probably in December! Have you ever been before? I haven't and it kills me. And I am very impressed that you picked up on that. Ten points to Hufflepuff.

I have never been there before either, therefore, I am also dying on the inside. And I'd love to go later this year, but I think it'll have to be next year at earliest, so I have time to save some money for it.
Well, to be honest, I don't FIND that surprising at all! We Hufflepuffs are particularly good finders, and that includes noticing references!

I am definitely in the same boat with saving money for it. I feel if I'm going to go, I've got to do it RIGHT with all the perks!
OH MY GOD I LOVE HUFFLEPUFFS (most of my family is comprised of Hufflepuffs and my sister has always been EXTREMELY good at finding things, even as a child)

That's awesome! Hufflepuffs are amazing... But then again, my secondary house is Ravenclaw... so I guess they're alright as well...

*takes a bow* I am definitely a proud Ravenclaw who is very aware of what shortcomings that brings up in me hahaha. I was just having a discussion with some friends about secondary houses the other night and we came to the conclusion that I am one of those people who is just Ravenclaw stacked on Ravenclaw But, interestingly, I really don't like hanging out with other Ravenclaws........I threw a party before going to see Fantastic Beasts and literally everyone there was a Slytherin except me and one Gryffindor....(and one Hufflepuff if you count my cat hahaha) As a Hufflepuff, which houses do you find yourself surrounded by most often??

We can answer trivia questions, too, miss! We aren't just cheerleaders! I'm not really offended, don't worry. Anyway - I have practically lived in the Wizarding World in Orlando. I think it's now been three separate weeks where I spent seven full days just being in Diagon Alley. I live in MI but have an annual pass HAHA because that makes loads of sense, really. One of my best friends lives about 40 min from there so I try to get out there as often as I can. Me and a friend went to this Harry Potter 'Yule Ball' last winter. It was extremely disappointing. The event organizers legit made no effort and charged a shit-ton of money. I did dress up as a witch, though, so there's that. And last year there was a Harry Potter convention in Detroit that I went to as a Death Eater (and my friend was my patronus...hahahahahah). It was also terrible. I'm learning that Detroit is crap for HP events, unfortunately.

Also, I am a thunderpuff! I am Hufflepuff and Thunderbird But as for secondary Hogwarts' house, Slytherin. Some are like 'Um, how can you be Hufflepuff and SLYTHERIN' but I'm bipolar sooo it makes sense. I find myself with friends of all houses. My best friends are Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, and Slytherin. I guess I don't discriminate.

Where in MI do you live? I'm going to be there near Detroit (Taylor? Wayne? One of the two) for a friends birthday at the end of June! Also, I'm from across the lake
