Primrose Cromwell S5
The first Hogsmeade weekend of the term was always met with an electric energy, students already eager to flee the walls of Hogwarts once more. Freedom to explore a whole village without direct supervision was a novelty even to the older students, though they tried to act as if they were accustomed to such leisure. Even this early into the term, there were going to be new couples seeking a quiet corner for snogging and established couples coming to reclaim their old haunts from the previous term. The corridors were buzzing with students making their way down through the castle, some stopping into the Great Hall for breakfast, others preferring to head straight to Hogsmeade.
For her part, Prim Cromwell was mostly glad for the chance to spend the day with her best friend. They'd kept in touch all summer, of course, and had even met up a few times when they could manage, but there was something about spending a day in Hogsmeade with Ezra that had the distinct feeling of relaxation. At least, that was how she felt about it.
Prim had come up from Slytherin's common room wearing skinny jeans, ankle boots, and a hoodie that was far too big on her small frame. It belonged to Ezra Wolf - she had gone to great lengths to steal it from his dorm by charming one of his dorm mates. Though, to be fair, charming his dorm mate hadn't been that difficult. She wondered if Ezra had noticed it missing yet. It was so damn cozy and comforting. It was a chilly day and she wanted to feel comfortable. Somehow, it fit her unique style just right when coupled with the proper accessories.
She reached the Great Hall first and took to idly pacing - not in a straight line, but more wandering aimlessly all over the place, humming.
