I have managed to find some incredible books. Here are a few: - Scythe by Neal Shusterman
- Gone by Michael Grant
- The Falconer by Elizabeth May
- Caraval by Stephanie Garber
My ALL-TIME FAVORITE TOP THREE BOOKS ARE THESE BOOKS AND YOU HAVE GOT TO READ THEM OH MY WORD: - Ready Player One by Ernest Cline
- Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
- Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo
If you enjoy YA fiction in the genres of scify/fantasy/steampunk, dystopian, historical - you can be my friend on Goodreads and I'm sure you'll find some other things you might like: Goodreads

I highly recommend the Wayward Children series by Seanan McGuire. The first one is called Every Heart a Doorway. I think they will appeal to many people who grew up with HP and other fantasy universes.
